Healthy assertiveness says
I Will not allow other people to tell me how to behave.
And the reason this works is because the healthy assertive person is enlightened and in tuned to the humanness of others enough—to not need to be told how to behave.
Because they always treat others as they want to be treated; with love and respect. They know others are valuable, as valuable as they are. And as worthy of encouragement and non-demeaning treatment as they themselves are.
So when they run into the occasional person who will always try to tell others how to behave… The healthy assertive is confident in their right to not listen to this advice. 🙂
I hope you are a healthy assertive!
