Are You Strong Enough To Be The Change?

hope1

I want to thank a certain young woman (if you are reading this you know who you are) for reaching out to me today for some encouragement in her desire to write and her desire to share her wisdom with the world. What she does not know is that by reaching out to me, by allowing me to encourage her, she in turn has encouraged me. I’ve a passion for encouraging others to be the best they can be. By asking me for encouragement she helped me to reach that goal, to live my purpose. We all know when we’re connected to God, in that moment, when we are doing exactly what we’re meant to do, there is nothing more powerful! And so it was this afternoon as I wrote a reply to her.

Just as it is meant to be when you are living out your purpose; I was energized, my level of energy was off the charts. It felt good to share encouragement with her.

As I was encouraging her, something else interesting happened. As my energy rose I almost Auto-wrote a paragraph that, when I later read it, I realized it was a powerful message not only to her (I hope anyway) but it was a clear message to me as well!

This is that paragraph:

“We are arriving in a time in our world where much change is on the horizon. It has begun with people like you and me. We are not alone! There are many of us. And we will be heard. We carry with us a message of hope and light. I believe we have been given the task of bringing humanity back to God. And we will. We will all do our part. You are doing yours and will continue to do so. You will see as days pass you will get stronger and stronger in your purpose. (as I do)”

I just wanted to share this interesting bit of spirituality with you!  I love when God moves!
Have a good day!

I’ve Changed My Mind…..

faithI had an interesting post ready to go about drama, it really was very interesting, an observation in human behavior, a social experiment if you will! But I’ve changed my mind! Right now I feel more compelled, due to circumstances in my life, to just say a little something on Faith.

My faith is probably the most important thing in my life. It is what keeps me going when I feel like stopping, it is what warms my soul when there is little around me to warm it.  My faith is something that, if I lost it, I would search high and low for it. It is very precious to me.

My Faith you can not see, but I guarantee you will feel it.

At this time in my life, with so many changes happening, with many people in my life getting to a point when the transition from this life to the next is drawing near, when one dear family member will inevitably make that transition very soon….. my faith is stronger than ever.  It is so strong it carries me on its wings every morning and every night and while I sleep it gives me dreams of hope.

My faith is so deep that when I put my feet on the ground in the morning it is there and I know it.

My prayer for you is that you not only have faith but that you feel your faith as if a constant companion!

Peace and Love~ Christine

Inner Peace OR All the Material Possessions you could ever want?

Which would you want?

Inner peace in the face of all tragedy, all setbacks, all problems OR All the material possessions you could ever want? When I first heard this question posed, I was listening to the Wayne Dyer CD “It’s Never Crowded Along The Extra Mile” I took a momentary double take at my player and then said with total conviction…..”Inner Peace”!

I would rather live with Inner Peace than have immense wealth, especially in times of conflict.  I would rather live a humble, modest life or even a life of poverty with inner peace than to live a life of luxury without it.  Why?

God never said our life would be without troubles, as a matter of fact he said the opposite!  John 16:33 ” These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. ” You see He says we will have tribulation but to be of good cheer. Most people have no concept of how to “be of good cheer” in the face of tribulation.

This is the reason I would give anything and everything up for inner peace. Then I could say with confidence “Bring it on!”

With GOD all things are possible! I know in Him I will learn what it means to have inner peace in the face of all problems!

In HIM I have found hope. The hope that I value inner peace over whatever the material world has to offer.

Peace to YOU~ Christine
