Hate is Hate……

hate2I hear all these people going on and on about the candidates, mocking and jeering. Laughing at people making fun of them and just in general spreading hate.

Oh but wait…..they are not hating right? They are just disagreeing with a politician? Seriously? I had the opportunity to sit back and listen to two women this morning jeering and mocking a candidate. They were going on and on about how this candidate spreads hate and how terrible said politician is!

If only I could have played a recording of them back so they could hear the hatred coming out of their mouths…their spirits.

Sad…

We need to look in the mirror. Spreading hatred just because it has to do with some abstract celebrity, politician, or other “famous” person doesn’t make it any less….hate filled.

I still Love You…..

lovecompassionI still love you. You have hurt so many with your words and your actions……I still love you. Does it surprise you to know that I will always love you? A mother loves her child with an unconditional love that knows no limits….and I find that my love for others is similar to this love that, up until recently, I have only felt for my children or family.

But that unconditional love now extends out to others, it is not reserved only for my children or family, it goes out even to those who hurt me or my loved ones.

Yes, I still love you. And if you want to receive that love….it is here for you.  It is the one thing I can give freely, whether you want it or not.

I do not hate you. I’m filled with a love that knows no bounds……….

Mark 2: 16-17  “When the teachers of the law who were Pharisees saw him eating with the sinners and tax collectors, they asked his disciples: “Why does he eat with tax collectors and sinners?” On hearing this, Jesus said to them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

How Do I Let It Go?

“Forgiveness does not change the past, but it does enlarge the future.” – Paul Boese

I have been researching the subject of “forgiveness” for 5 years.  And throughout that time people always ask me….”How do I let it go?”  “How do I forgive the unforgivable?” OR…simply  “How do I forgive?”

This is such a personal thing and I know we are all different. But this is what I can tell you……

The road to forgiveness starts with loving yourself enough to just do it!  The need to forgive, holding grudges, causes deep hatred within your soul. That causes blocks that prevent you from reaching goals and living your purpose.

Love yourself enough to let it go!

Simple right? No…but it is possible!
