As Christians, we are called to show others (each other) love. Jesus told His disciples, “By this shall all [men] know that you are My disciples, if you love one another [if you keep on showing love among yourselves]” (John 13:35).
It’s pretty simple really. Love others. Is that what we do? Everyday? Do we love others?
I see and hear other Christians bad mouth each other, or get into such heated debates that they sound hate filled. If we can’t love other Christians how will we love all Gods children? I say live life by one rule (the same rule) for everyone. Love others regardless of…..
Love others without any “buts” Say “I love you” not ” I love you but……” love your fellow-man regardless of what they can or can not do for you, regardless of their socioeconomic status, regardless of how many tattoos they may have or who they choose to call “friend” “spouse” or whatever! Just love others the way Jesus did and the way He told us to.
I think too many people lose faith in religion / Christians because they see us not loving others. They see the judgement and the intolerance. If we can’t be trusted to do the simple things, like loving other Christians, how will we ever be trusted with the hard stuff? Like leading the way?
Love…that is the way.
