Call to Love

Sorrow can take root and become a part, or the whole, of who we are. It’s hard not to let sorrow define us. How do we get up out of that deep sorrow? One thing to remember is we are never alone and do not have to do this without help. I’ve heard it said when people feel God the most (or for the first time) is when they are in their deepest sorrow. God is for us, always with us. There are times we do not feel this and it all seems impossible. To get back to the basics is to know God calls us to love one another. If we can see clear enough to know this and love another, take time out for another, serve another- then we will find the strength to lift up out of our sorrow and pain.

Wake up and be grateful, we must ask Him to use us, to show us where we may be of help to another. Get our head into service and God will take care of the rest.

Let God’s will be done! I do not believe His will is to live out our life filled with sorrow over any issue. Grab on to someone else and love them, ask to be receptive to opportunity. Ask to be an instrument of His love. And let His will be done.

This is not easy, we all need support, I think by opening ourselves up to opportunities (to help others) we will find the support we need.

Be someones miracle today! Their miracle will be our miracle. I believe it is the way God intended it to work.

“Miracles occur naturally as expressions of love. The real miracle is the love that inspires them. In this sense everything that comes from love is a miracle.” ~ Marianne Williamson

“Could a greater miracle take place than for us to look through each other’s eyes for an instant?” ~ Henry David Thoreau
